Snow

Good snow, bad snow, too much snow, not enough snow. Soft snow, hard snow, wet snow, dry snow, warm snow, cold snow. Weird snow, normal snow, fun snow, tough snow, horrible snow. Windy snow, calm snow, stinging snow, loads of snow, no snow.

Some photos from the last couple of weeks in Scotland.

Big Kicks in Scotland :)

Scottish Winter Climbing

I've been up in Scotland for almost two weeks now and the leg pistons are now oiled and starting to work like I remember them. The first week of the season is generally a physical battle to realise the level of fitness you aspire to. After this many seasons I know to just shut up and get on with it!

The trip kicked off with mucker Dave Hearsay in the Cairngorms where we knocked about some of the classic venues, ticking some classic routes. Dave headed back to Bristol and the last few days I've been based in the West and climbing with another friend Mark Stevenson. Should be fighting fit to start work this Friday...

Armorican - One Handed...

Sea Cliff Climbing in Pembrokeshire

Back in the summer I met up with a super cool dude called Andrew for a filmed ascent of the North Pembrokeshire classic Armorican. "Bald eagle's" Dave Linnett and Emma Cave were there to capture the moment in HD. Good job Andrew on the climb and Dave/Emma for filming/editing. Happy Christmas everyone!

My latest wee video about friend and fellow Climbers Club member Andrew Walker. Andrew had a very serious, life changing accident about 10 years ago and this is his attempt to climb the 3* VS super-classic Armorican at the delightful and photogenic Craig Caerfai near St Davids in North Pembroke!
