Winter Mountaineering and Climbing in The West Highlands
After Snowdonia, it was back on the road to head north for the long drive to Glen Coe and a stay at the Alex Macintyre Memorial Hut. The first day I hooked up with a local friend called Jamie for a climb in Stob Coire nan Lochan with great conditions. I spent the following four days with Alex, who was experiencing the delights and hardships of the Scottish mountains in winter. Great performance Alex! The last few days were spent out on the hill with Dean, having our last day with out with Jamie too. A good trip all in all with a mix of weather but it is Scotland after all. Now all I need is my arms to get as strong as my legs for the coming rock climbing season!
