Last week I was out with Adam, he was a climber and was in Pembrokeshire on holiday with his family and wanted to grab a days climbing. After meeting up we decided Mother Carey's Kitchen to be suitable arena for our day's adventures. After a pumpy warm up on Joyous Guard, we made a tricky diagonal abseil to get to the high tide belay at the start of the Pembroke classic Rock Idol. Adam cruised the climb and was keen to get on a lead himself. Changing the abseil point, we abb'd again to the base of The Cracks, a corking VS on the centre of the crag. Adam cruised the route again and brought me up. With just enough time left we finished with the wonderfully esoteric but at the same time amazing Inner Space. Not a bad day at the office. Cheers Adam.
