The Magic Abseil

This morning I headed to Merrion Camp for a Range West briefing, giving me access to the range to climb for the next year. After that, I headed to St. Govan's car park to meet up with SJ, who was driving to Pembs' from Bristol. We headed over to Newton Head for look at the lower wall. After sliding down our "magic abseil",  I kicked off with Chicken Run, but ended up climbing parts of Double Dragon by mistake. SJ then climbed an amalgamation of Bypass, Chicken Run and Double Dragon in the rain. Amazingly, we didn't touch any of the same rock while climbing both routes!  With the rain steadily getting us wet, we bumbled back to SJ's van for a cup of tea. Short but fun day. Where to go tomorrow?...
