This afternoon I met up with my ex-boss Guy Jarvis for a couple of climbs, while he was spending a holiday with his family in Pembrokeshire. We decided that a safe option would be Carreg y Barcud, as we didn't have too long. So we turned up and had the crag to ourselves. Guy lead off on Ethos, a quality route that I had lead 7 years ago, so it was nice to second it this time around. I then got on a route to it's right, Woodentops. A nice companion route to Ethos, but caused a sudden jolt of adrenaline as I reversed a move to rest on a small foot hold that snapped off when I weighted it! Keeping in contact with the rock, I regathered composure and lead on to the top. A nice couple of routes and a good chat in the van to and from the crag. Cheers Guy, again soon hopefully!
