The day started out very wet. My friends Chris and son Choire Horobin were heading down from Frome for a couple of day's cragging, with hope that the forecasted good weather would turn up sooner rather than later. I met up with them at the Mother Carey's car park in the early afternoon, under grey, moody looking clouds and puddles on the ground. I managed to blag them into doing a bit of exploring and we discovered a wonderful mountaineering traverse above the sea. Some of it was walking, some of it was scrambling, some of it was climbing, but all of it was a perfect adventure for a poor weather day. The forecast is looking amazing for tomorrow!
