Rock climbing in Range West

Yesterday I headed out with John to explore some areas I've not been to in Range West. We got our passes from the guard room, then strolled over to Greenham Common to have a look about. John kicked off by leading Peace Dividend which both of us felt was not deserving of it's star in the guide book. I then climbed Wilson's Wobbler, which we both agreed was deserving of it's star! A quick abseil later, I headed up H Bomb which felt bold for the grade. We finished the afternoon off by climbing the two pitch "three star" traverse of Rainbow Bridge. A very exposed route but probably not worth it's given grade or it's classic status. I've learnt over my three visits to Range West that you need to take the grades and quality ratings with a pinch of salt! Lovely weather for late November though...
