"It never rains in Pembroke"...

I met up with Ed today and went in search of some dry rock at Stackpole Head. The seas were still booming, so we opted for the Stackpole Cracks area, as it has a half hight ledge to keep us away from the worst of the waves. I led the top pitch of Munching Molluscs, in far from dry conditions. We decided to go over to Shakehole Bay in search of dryer rock and a more sheltered aspect. After abseiling in Ed chose a recently put up route by Steve Quinton called Valentine Away. A very good effort from Ed, seeing as it was E3 and soaking wet. We concluded that enough was enough and had an early finish. It does rain every once in a while in Pembroke...
