Me and Dave T had had a trip to Scotland winter climbing planned for a couple of weeks but the weather had been very mild for a long time and there was reports from instructors up there that wellies would be more appropriate than crampons. We changed objectives to a ten day winter sun excursion to the Anti-Atlas mountain range in Morocco. I was secretly quite happy we were going for a chilled out cragging trip rather than a two week winter beasting… We did manage to catch a days winter climbing on Glyder Fach in Snowdonia on our way to Manchester Airport before flying off to Africa.
